What to Expect

We invite you to join us for Bible Study (Sabbath School) and Worship every Saturday morning.

When you arrive at church on a Saturday morning, you might be greeted with a hearty "Happy Sabbath!"  That's a traditional Seventh-day Adventist greeting expressing our appreciation for your presence, and our gratitude for the Sabbath rest this day contains.

Sabbath School Classes begin at 9:45 AM.

There are Sabbath School classes for children ages 4-9, youth ages 10-16 , and adults: Currently, we do not break up our Bible study into smaller age groups.

There is a 5-10-minute break between Sabbath School class and the main worship service.

Church Worship Service begins at 11:00 AM and lets out between 12:15 PM and 12:30 PM.

There is a mother's room available for those with children under 3yr old. In the mother's room is a shelf with some activity bags and sensory kits. The activity bags are for children ages 4-10 who need a little help sitting in the church service. The sensory kits are for children and adults ages 2+ (the kits are marked by age) who have Sensory Processing Disorder, and need more or less sensory input to enjoy their church experience.

Our church service begins with a welcome, announcements, and prayer inviting the presence of the Lord into the service. Following that is a song where we sing to and about our Lord and Savior. Currently, our songs always come from our physical hymnal. You can find them in the back of the pew in front of you. They are red leather-bound books. Then we have our Praise in Giving (a time to give back a tithe and offering to our Lord). The Tithe goes to pay pastors and teachers in our conference, while the offerings go to the specific ministry you chose in the giving envelope, also found in the back of the pew. Next is our Children's Story. The children take up a Lamb's Offering (an offering they get to collect that funds our children's ministry) then sit on the front pew for a special storytime. That is followed by a time of prayer, where congregants can publically share a praise and/or prayer requests. Sometimes, we have a special music, where one or more people will share with us a musical piece. Then comes our Scripture Reading, upon which the sermon is based, and a time of learning during the sermon, presented by our pastor, and elder, or a guest speaker.  The service will end with a closing song and prayer.

Once a month there is a fellowship meal, held downstairs in the Fellowship Hall. Please feel free to stay and eat with us, whether or not you brought food!

Please come visit and worship with us! We look forward to meeting you and getting to know you!

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us on our "Contact Us" page.

Accessibility: For those with physical limitations, please park at our top entrance right off of 4th St and NOT Henry Ave. There is a side door that enters into the sanctuary. If you are the first car there, please pull all the way forward so we can fit three cars in the space. We have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom upstairs, and a wheelchair spot at the back right of the church, with a half pew next to it for friends and family. When it comes time to go downstairs, you can drive around to the lower entrance. We cannot provide a chair lift or elevator due to the age of the building, the steepness of the steps, and the cost. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding.
