Bio: Grace Peno volunteered for a year in Maruševec, Croatia, as girls' dorm worship leader, drama club director, choir director, and English language tutor. It was here she met her future husband, Ilia Peno, a seminary student. She returned to Maruševec and earned her B.A. in Theology from Adriatic Union College. Covid paused her plans (but not God's), so she worked as a riding instructor and trail guide for a year at Good Luck Farms before going on to earn a Masters in Divinity from Andrews University. Pulaski SDA is her first placement and she loves every minute! Her husband, Ilia Peno, is the pastor of the Marion, Konnarock, and Richlands SDA churches. Grace says her personal mission statement is "to live singularly for Jesus."
